We can all use a little help here and there and shouldn’t have to seek drastic measures to achieve a desired appearance. A Marie Claire UK corespondent needed a little rejuvenation and plumping in her face. She describes her face as long and often gaunt-looking. It is common that as we get older, we tend to lose volume in the face. She decided it was time to pay a visit to me and Lift MD Aesthetics® after hearing that I would be able to help her with this problem with the use of Radiesse, an injectable filler that lasts up to a year. During my travels, I pay special attention to what people find beautiful and how they achieve it. Clients always ask me about plastic surgery trends and beauty tips that I have come across while exploring other parts of the world. My wife Galia and I recently took a trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi to visit some close friends. Wow, what an amazing place! I made sure to do a little research while there of course. I wanted to find out how our standards of beauty differ from those in the United Arab Emirates.
I couldn’t believe some of the architecture that we saw there. The world’s tallest building gave me vertigo just looking at it! This is where the new Armani Hotel resides.
The new Atlantis Hotel, situated on the Palm Jumeirah, was definitely a sight for the eyes. It is absolutely huge, like a city in itself with a monorail that takes guests into the city. Amazing!
Apparently Sex and the City 2 is set in the fabulous city of Abu Dhabi and it was clear why they chose this location– pure luxury and stunning architecture provide for a prime backdrop for a movie… or a vacation! At the Emirates Palace Hotel, a seven star hotel in Abu Dhabi, I came across a vending machine that dispenses solid gold coins! The hotel was stunning with gorgeous views of the ocean and immaculate landscaping.
One of our highlights was seeing the famous Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram performing at the trendy Cavalli Club in Dubai. She is one of our favorite musicians so it was truly great to see her in action. I have to say, there are some very beautiful people in Dubai and believe it or not, cosmetic surgery is prevalent. But the sun is so strong I couldn’t help but wonder how they protect their skin. I thought to myself how perfect the Lift MD Aesthetics® Daily Mineral Guard SPF 25 would be for a climate like that.
Women are up on the latest fashion trends and have every designer at their fingertips at the many incredible malls. They have everything from Sephora, H&M, and Bloomingdales to Sak’s, Harvey Nichols, Chanel and Lanvin for their beauty and fashion fixes. This is definitely a shopping destination.
This is the Hammam we visited, an Arabic steam bath where the locals pamper themselves, it’s all about health and beauty! Hello from Washington DC! I arrived today in the capitol to attend the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery conference. This is the place to learn and hear about the latest developments in cosmetic surgery, straight from the people that specialize in this field. As an Allergan board member, I was also called upon to participate in the board meeting this morning to discuss Latisse and the latest in facial cosmetics.

I am a huge supporter of Sheriff Lee Baca and all that he has done for our community. So, I decided to hold a fundraising event here at the Lift MD Aesthetics® center in support of his reelection. Here gathered some of the city’s finest citizens and notable people to show their gratitude to Sheriff Baca. The event was a massive success and I want to thank everybody involved.
