In Search of Beauty In The City: My Trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi

During my travels, I pay special attention to what people find beautiful and how they achieve it. Clients always ask me about plastic surgery trends and beauty tips that I have come across while exploring other parts of the world. My wife Galia and I recently took a trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi to visit some close friends. Wow, what an amazing place! I made sure to do a little research while there of course. I wanted to find out how our standards of beauty differ from those in the United Arab Emirates.

I couldn’t believe some of the architecture that we saw there. The world’s tallest building gave me vertigo just looking at it! This is where the new Armani Hotel resides.

The new Atlantis Hotel, situated on the Palm Jumeirah, was definitely a sight for the eyes. It is absolutely huge, like a city in itself with a monorail that takes guests into the city. Amazing!

Apparently Sex and the City 2 is set in the fabulous city of Abu Dhabi and it was clear why they chose this location– pure luxury and stunning architecture provide for a prime backdrop for a movie… or a vacation! At the Emirates Palace Hotel, a seven star hotel in Abu Dhabi, I came across a vending machine that dispenses solid gold coins! The hotel was stunning with gorgeous views of the ocean and immaculate landscaping.

One of our highlights was seeing the famous Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram performing at the trendy Cavalli Club in Dubai. She is one of our favorite musicians so it was truly great to see her in action. I have to say, there are some very beautiful people in Dubai and believe it or not, cosmetic surgery is prevalent.
